Built by one person. For an entire industry.

Indian D2C brands deserve creator intelligence built for their market — not a global tool that breaks on Hindi content.

The Story

How a village kid started building for Indian brands

01

Small town, big joint family

I grew up in Balrampur, Chhattisgarh — a small town most people have never heard of. My family lived together in a village, I call it “Purana Ghar” (Old House). My grandfather had four sons and a daughter. Everyone's houses were very close.

My father was the second-eldest son. He saw that the village had bad roads, no proper shops, almost no facilities and etc — so he decided to move. He built a house in a better location, bought a vehicle, and created a better life for us through sheer discipline.

That quiet, consistent work ethic — building something from nothing, without asking for permission — is what I think I inherited.

02

Two schools, one realization

I studied at St. Xavier's School from PP1 to Class 8 — my childhood school where I made my first real friends. Then I transferred to DAV Mukhyamantri Public School for Classes 9 through 12.

At DAV, I found my footing. In Class 9, I was chosen as Assembly Captain. In Class 10, I was selected to represent my school at the Prerna Award event. Teachers recognized me. I studied hard.

Class 11 · DAV Public School

“I realized I wasn't building the person I wanted to become.”

By Class 11, my focus drifted. My performance dropped. A PE teacher — someone I respected — told me bluntly that my behavior was slipping. That conversation hit me harder than any exam result.

I realized: I wasn't building the person I wanted to become. Something had to change.

03

Why entrepreneurship, not a job

Growing up, I spent time around friends whose families ran businesses. Their mindset was different from the “study → degree → job” path everyone else followed. My best friend Shubhankar would come up with a new business idea almost every week — most of them were impractical, but his energy was infectious.

Home work-area

“Coding, designing, and optimizing every asset solo from home.”

During my last summer vacation before Class 12, I did something most teenagers don't: I seriously researched career paths. I looked at 40+ business models. I compared them against what I could actually build as a solo founder with zero funding.

Found some but the one which best fitted me was: Influencer Marketing . A growing market. Real pain points. Something I could code myself.

04

The first failure

I built my first attempt immediately. A basic analytics tool. I was proud of it — until I compared it to what real SaaS products looked like.

The architecture was wrong. The data was shallow. The UX was amateur. I realized I was building without understanding what users actually need.

I keep it up as a reminder of where I started.

That failure taught me more than any course could. I learned about API architecture, database design, user psychology, and the difference between “a project” and “a product.”

05

Why PulseROI exists

Here's what I discovered while researching the influencer marketing space:

💸
Modash monthly plans range from ₹25,000 to ₹50,000
Most Indian D2C brands can't justify that spend — especially startups doing ₹50K–5L/month in creator campaigns.
🇮🇳
Global tools misclassify regional Indian content
They often detect Hinglish as English, fail to isolate Indian dialects, and break on localized metric calculations.
🧾
No INR pricing. No GST invoices.
Indian finance teams need Indian billing. Not USD invoices from Delaware.

PulseROI is built to solve all three. HIRE/MAYBE/SKIP verdicts in 30 seconds. 6 AI providers cross-verifying every analysis. Hindi, Hinglish, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu — all detected. INR pricing starting at ₹1,999/month.

Over 90% cheaper than global tools. Built by someone who actually understands the Indian market — because he lives in it.

What I've learned at 16

1Nobody is coming to save you. If you know you need to swim, start swimming. Nobody will pull you out.
2Your first version will embarrass you. Build it anyway. My first website embarrasses me — but it taught me everything I needed for v2.
3There is no 'tomorrow.' The founders who ship today beat the ones who plan for next week.
4Consistency beats talent. Sending 15 cold DMs daily for 60 days beats one viral tweet. Every time.
5Being young is a strength, not a weakness. I have zero overhead, zero ego, and more hunger than most funded startups.
